Bria Leona Cornelius passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 4th in Daytona Beach Florida. She was the loving daughter of Robert and Catherine Cornelius from Havana, and the devoted sister of Robert Jr., David, Michael, and Patti Cornelius and Leanna, Morgan and Dorothy Shipe. Bria also leaves many aunts and uncles from the states of Tennessee, Colorado, Vermont, Massachusetts, New York and Florida. Her interred fraternal grandparents are in Tennessee and her maternal grandparents reside in Massachusetts. She truly will be missed by all. She was born in Daytona and attended Melbourne High School. After residing in Daytona for a long while as a secretary, she moved to Havana in 2004 where she attended the First Baptist Church of Havana, and was a family member of the Confetti’s Car Show Productions. There will be a Memorial Service held at the First Baptist Church of Havana, 116 East 6th Street in Havana on Saturday, June 17th at 11:00 AM where Pastor Eric Erskine will preside over, then an inurnment at the Tallahassee Memory Gardens 4037 North Monroe St, Tallahassee at 12 noon. There will be refreshments at the home of Robert and Catherine Cornelius after the service. |
