Sixth Annual Harvest Day Festival Car and Truck Show
First Annual Golf Cart Parade and Show

| As you know, this is one of my favorite shows, mainly because there is so much to see and do. Brenda Broome and her staff at the Chamber of Commerce work so hard to make the Harvest Festival a success every year. This year was no exception. Along with our annual car and truck show, we ventured into introducing and showing off our favorite "boy toy" golf cars. We all thought it was great fun and it sure seemed to please the crowds. We got the biggest kick when the parade was over as they all lined up with the classics and hot rods in a row to show off their decorations and additions. Hopefully, this tradition will grow as the years go by. We awarded the top ten trophies to the carts, and the list of the winners are mentioned at the bottom after the of the car and truck show winner participants. The weather has never failed us at the Harvest Show, and it sure was beautiful as were the vehicles that were displayed. James Miller of Iron City showed off his original 1929 Model A, and even had a display of memorabilia of the era. It was fascinating and quite historical. David Hawkins showed off his signature of Mr Shelby embossed on his dash, who is well renowned for his special design of the classic Mustang. Lisa Ward brought my FAVORITE vehicle in the whole world, which is a bright red fire truck! One of these days, I will get my wish! Our Best Kid and Miss Confetti Awards were handed out to a brother and sister team who spent all day enjoying the cars and festival. Elyse, 9 years old, and Arrin 11 years old, Rognstad seemed thrilled to be honored with the title. The Harvest Festival Show is when we name our StreetRodder Of The Year, and this day was no exception. David Duke won the award, and will be presented at a special dinner in his honor. Being that this is our last show of the year, we at Confetti's want to thank all of you that helped us have many memorable times in 2007. Keep checking our web page for events for 2008.
